It was heartbreak at Molineux as Liverpool FC fell to a dramatic 2-1 defeat against Wolverhampton Wanderers in a thrilling Premier League clash.
The game looked destined for a tense finish when Rodrigo Gomes fired Wolves ahead in the 78th minute, sending the home fans into celebration. But you can never rule out the Reds Mohamed Salah stepped up once again, calmly restoring parity just five minutes later with a clinical finish.
Just when it seemed Liverpool had rescued a point, Wolves delivered the final blow deep into stoppage time. Andre’s deflected effort in the 90+4th minute broke Liverpool hearts and sealed all three points for the hosts in dramatic fashion.
