Cristiano Ronaldo recently gave a rare glimpse into his personal life, beyond the trophies, goals, and record-breaking moments. In a heartfelt conversation, he shared his thoughts on money, success, and what truly makes life meaningful.

Ronaldo explained that while he surrounds himself with the right people in every area of life, financial decisions are something he handles personally. “I talk almost every day about structure, investments, and opportunities because it’s my life and my money,” he said.

Becoming a billionaire, he admits, was always on his radar. But for him, it wasn’t about obsession with wealth. “I knew this would happen. It’s just a matter of time. Honestly, I was super happy when it happened it felt like winning a Golden Ball. That was one of my main goals, just like winning trophies, the Champions League, or a Golden Ball.”

Money, Ronaldo reflected, opens doors and provides opportunities, but it isn’t everything. “When you reach a certain level, money doesn’t matter as much anymore. But of course, it’s always good to have more because, as human beings, we’re never completely satisfied with what we have.”

He shared how his priorities have shifted over time. As a young man, he loved cars, but that passion has faded. “I recently bought a plane because I need it it’s not normal for someone like me to wait at airports. Money is good, but it’s not important anymore. I can buy anything I want, but it’s no longer about collecting material things. My purchases, like cars, are investments now, and honestly, I don’t even count them.”

For Ronaldo, life’s true wealth lies elsewhere. “What you take from this life is family and friends. If you don’t have good people around you, you won’t be happy,” he concluded.

This insight shows a side of Ronaldo many fans don’t often see a man who has achieved nearly everything in football and business but knows that happiness comes from relationships and meaningful experiences, not just money or possessions.
