A Lucky Soul Lost: Sheikh Gumi Pays Tribute to Iran’s Supreme Leader

Islamic cleric Sheikh Ahmad Gumi has reacted to the reported d+ath of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, calling him “a lucky soul” who “d+ed in jihad.”

In a heartfelt post on his Facebook page on Sunday, Gumi praised Khamenei for standing firm against those he described as “killers of innocent children and women in Gaza and elsewhere.” The cleric emphasized that Khamenei’s blood “will fuel the change in the ummah,” noting the Iranian leader’s unwavering commitment to justice.

“Ayatollah Ali Khamenei: A lucky soul, he died in Jihad against killers of innocent children and women in Gaza and elsewhere,” Gumi wrote. “His blood will fuel the change in the ummah. He stood firmly for Justice and didn’t hide in bunkers. For those who killed him or assisted in killing him, let us see what they will live to do in this world.”

Khamenei, who held the position of Supreme Leader for decades, was a towering figure in Iran’s political and religious landscape. Reports suggest he dead following an Israeli strike in Tehran on Saturday, marking the end of a controversial yet influential era.

Whether admired or criticized, his legacy now described through Gumi’s words reminds the world of the complex and polarizing role he played on the global stage.
