OnlyFans Boss Leonid Radvinsky Dies at 43 After Quiet Fight With Cancer
Leonid Radvinsky, the billionaire behind OnlyFans, has passed away at the age of 43 following a long battle with cancer.
The company confirmed that he died peacefully, asking the public to respect his family’s privacy during this time.
Radvinsky, who was born in Ukraine and raised in Chicago, took over OnlyFans in 2018. At the time, the platform was still growing, but under his leadership, it quickly became one of the most talked-about and profitable platforms on the internet.
OnlyFans surged during the COVID-19 lockdowns, as millions of people turned to online platforms for income and entertainment. That period marked a major turning point, pushing the company into global prominence and earning Radvinsky billionaire status.
Launched in 2016, OnlyFans allows creators to earn money through subscriptions, tips, and exclusive content, with the platform taking a percentage of earnings. Over time, it grew into a massive digital business, hosting millions of creators and hundreds of millions of users worldwide.
By 2024, the platform was generating about $1.4 billion in revenue, with over 377 million users and around 4.6 million creators.
Outside of OnlyFans, Radvinsky also invested in tech startups through his venture firm, Leo.com. He was also known for giving back, supporting causes like cancer research.
His death marks the end of an era for the platform he helped turn into a global force.
