Panic gripped residents on Monday afternoon in the Aguda area of Ogba, Lagos, after a school building suddenly collapsed while students and teachers were still inside.
What began as a normal school day quickly turned into a moment of fear when the structure started showing signs that something was terribly wrong.
According to an eyewitness, the incident happened around noon. At first, small stones began dropping from parts of the building. Moments later, visible cracks started spreading across the walls inside the classrooms.

Screams filled the air as teachers hurriedly ordered the children to move out of the building. Within minutes, students were seen rushing out in panic while others helped their classmates find the exits.
Just moments after everyone managed to escape, the entire structure suddenly came crashing down.

Fortunately, no lives were lost. Students and school staff had already evacuated the building before it completely gave way a narrow escape many described as nothing short of a miracle.
